Movies to Look Forward in 2019

Year 2018 has given us a bag full of movies with unexpected results and reviews. Some of the films were big budgeted whereas some were low-budget with strong scripts. Both kind of movies worked really well with fan boys and critics.

Seems like 2019 has got a lot of surprises for the cinephiles.

Gully Boy

The power pack duo of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt are coming together for the first time.

Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy is releasing on February 14. The movies is based on the underground hip-hop scene of Mumbai. The movie will have its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival in February.

Kalank is going to be the biggest multi-starrer movie of 2019. The movie is having Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Kunal Khemu, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles. This Abhishek Verman directorial will release on April 19.

Student Of The Year 2

Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday are in the sequel to the 2012 film Student of the Year. Punit Malhotra’s directorial Student of the Year 2 will release on May 10. The film is marking the debut of both leading actresses.

Brahmastra is going to be the trilogy by Karan Johar. The films casts Rambir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bacchan. This trio is coming on the screen for the first time.

This is perhaps the most ambitious in-house project of Karan Johar.

Super 30

Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 is also lined up this year. The movie is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar and his educational programmes Super 30.
